I...I'm so happy

COME COME. READ ALL ABOUT IT. ONLY 68 TEAMS. ONLY 68 TEAMS.

That's right everyone. You can step off that ledge on the 96th floor. No need to jump now. Your prayers have been answered. And now we won't need to worry again for another 14 years because today CBS inked a deal with the NCAA to keep the tournament the way it is. And dare I say, the NCAA did the job right?

Yes, and YES. According to the deal, the Turner stations (TNT, TBS and TruTV[?]) will also have rights to the games, therefore allowing all the games to play at once on cable in HD. Hang on. Let me ride this boner out.... Ok. Flacid.

Bleed Scheyer. Bleed for the fans
So, what went from being a sure 96 team field where "cluster fuck" would be an understated metaphor, became 68 which is really how it should have been all along. This helps everyone, well except for the minor mid majors, at lets be serious, who gives a fuck about them. Now we'll have play in games to see who will lose to the one seed, and better teams, such as Virginia Tech this year, would get in.

It all makes sense. Revenue is good. Television is good. Big schools are happy. The NCAA, instead of shooting itself in the foot, went for the mid majors, just how it should have been drawn up all along.

My question here is this. If this works out (and it will) would it start a domino effect that would carry into football? My thoughts are that they did this deal because of the uproar in the community after the Greg Shaheen incident. The NCAA then went back to the drawing boards and did as the people wanted it.

And if this works out perfectly, who is to say that they don't mess with the BCS system to cater it to the people. Like I've said earlier here, the revenue is there, it's just a matter of pleasing the customer. Simple sales 101. Maybe if we are lucky, the NCAA will make changes for us instead of them. Fingers crossed of course. Either way, this one is a win for the fans. Chalk it up. Rock Chalk it up.

Oh thank god they're gone

Today is a big day in the college football community. Two of the largest most gelled hair cut wearing, bro blasting, rosaries wearing douches are going to be drafted into the NFL and out of our lives. But before we forget these two, lets learn a lesson from their respective (Tim Tebow's. No respect can be garnered for Jim Clausen) college careers.

Let us not forget the years of the disciple Timothy Tebow the first. He began as a measly little freshman with a hankering to run QB draws and play the bitch of Chris Leak. With his precise handling, passed down to him from his father through years of black baby circumcision, the young boy became a man, winning a national championship, running and throwing for touchdowns.

Hippie Jonathan stoned: Josh Selby

Heeeeyyyy :)> You know what today is? THE BEST DAY EVER. I just waked up, and yes, baked up. Hahaha. Look at that sentence. It's definitely not right. You know what is right? Josh Selby's decision. I have looked over his credentials. He looks like a real dude. (strums on guitar with no actual guitar experience)

I watched from the TV in my tent the other day. He was so good at basketball. I have a feeling he could really help out the high hawks. (snickers at that sentence and eats Snickers King Sized candy bar)

You know what I could really use?

(door tries to open, but can't because of the towel underneath it.)

Hold on dude. I gotta move the toWELL. Weird word that is. Towel. TAOWELLE!

(door meanders open)

Frat guy D-Row here to talk about Brandon Knight

Yo brah's. Just got done sleeping through my 10 am class and figured I do something productive with my day. At least until I get that KEGGER POPPIN' WHA WHAA! (Raises the Roof)

I hear this guy, what's his name Brandon Knight? He signed with my favorite coach ever. EVER BRAH! John Calipari. Love that dude. He does what he has to. If he needs a recruit, then he'll just dish him a few greenbacks to get him on his roster. He's just like me. If I need to get laid, then I just buy my lady a ruficolada. SHIT WORKS BRAH. (Reverses trucker hat)

And I really like Brandon Knight. Brah can ball up real tight yo. But I would like him a lot more if he did his name up all bro you know. Like my name. D-Row. My parents back at the Hamptons named me Derrick Rowland, but you know what? I gotta G up my name. That's when my frat bro T-Dawg came up with my brilliant name. D-Row. And it's rhymes with bro so you know it's bro. (Pops collar)

USC has a good running back. HO–HUM

You'd think, well Pete Carrol is done so they suck now right? NO. Shove that idea right back up your nostril and rethink it. Here's why. (Fast forward to the :45 second mark)

Poor Pac-10. This is the backup running back. You might as well give up. Hell, Oregon is already trying to give up. This means that Bubb can go back to gloating his prized football tradition again... if he ever writes here again. **cough cough***

As for the rest of the country, you also better prepare the rape kit. Remember that hay day for USC football. Their coaches are there now, and are pissed. Not sure what at, I mean, it's goddamn sunny and 70 every day there. AND NO TORNADOES!

Anyways, give Matt Barkley the sophmore talent increase (which excludes players that should have taken that basketball scholarship **cough Terrelle Pryor cough**) and the USC running back firtility pool and you are looking at one of the best teams in the nation. Fucking assholes.

At KU, we have to drag non scholarship basketball players onto the practice field to create a little competition. God, fuck football, but GO EQUAL OPPORTUNITY!

Well fuck you Duke.

You may have wondered where the pissed-off-at-Duke posts have been this past week. Well, they were sitting in my dormant hard drive that decided to end itself Saturday morning, just before the begining of the semi-finals of the NCAA tournament. I'd like to attribute this hard drive failure to the copious amounts of porn that I download, the many times I drunkenly dropped my laptop, and of course Duke. Mostly Duke.

Here are a few of the things that can be attributed to Duke as well –

Kobe Byrant is now a gold medalist.

White people in striped polos inevitably look like douches

JJ Reddick

9/11

Cancellation of Flight of the Concords

Jay Bilas

The degradation of the caucasian race

Ugly people

Stealing titles from mid-major teams by paying off the refs

If only Gordon Hayward had hit that shot. The misery emanating from those blue and white douche-gays would feed my empty soul. Empty soul left from the upper half of Iowa. Still not over it. And Xavier Henry. You, you're a douche.

NCAA: the jews of the sports world

Everyone is all pissed at the NCAA today. Like really pissed. Like hatchet serial killing pissed. You know why? Because of THIS GUY.
Looks like a tool. Dresses like a tool. Probably talks like a tool, and is a fucking tool. A tool that the NCAA higher ups wield to fuck up our very nice microburst filled Friday. Nobody likes this guy. I mean come on. Just look at him. He is the definition of douche. Go ahead. Look it up.

Douche(n): A person who oozes douchiness or is named Greg Shaheen.

This Greg Shaheen is set out to destroy our innocence with the only tool this tool possesses – PR TACTICS. Ask him a question, and get ready for him to divert that shit. He's the Cole Aldrich of dodging questions. Swatting every difficult question right to the sidelines. He is a dick. Literally the definition of dick.

Dick(n): Penis or Richard or Greg Shaheen.

And what is he using his PR tactics for? Would you like it if I said evil schemes? No. No you wouldn't. THIS FUCKER. Let me tell ya. THIS FUCKER IS PRO-96. 96 teams in one tournament. That's what he wants you to accept with his arsenal of endless PR tricks.
